Compliance research on document retention statutes for a Fortune 500 corporate counsel
Scope of work - To find and summarize the new document retention statutes across 50 states with special focus on statutes for electronic document retention in securities, energy and retail industry.
Task performed - Research the legal and compliance databases and find all statutes, bills, discussions, SOX guidelines and other state and local bylaws on document retention in above industries.
Result - We compressed the entire research in two weeks by having a US researcher and Indian researcher work together in two different time zones.
