Scope of work -
Identification of patents for the web-based legal solution provider. The client was building a web-based legal business.
Task performed -
Searched USPTO, Escape net and WIPO patent databases for all close patents with respect to the web-based process and the business model of the client. Also, described the working of the website through flow charts and schematic diagrams.
Result -
We identified relevant and close patents and some patents that the client can file. Also, we described the working of his website, which the client took to their patent attorney and started the claim filing process. Total savings were $3,000.
