Scope of work -
The client is a large software services and IT consulting firm. The requirement was to review incoming consulting and software development contracts and advice from a contractual and business situation perspective.
Task performed -
Developed a glossary of relevant contractual terms. Created a pool of relevant clauses like IP rights, Non-solicitation, Non-disclosure, etc. Analyzed third party contracts including software license, maintenance and consulting agreement for renewal, termination, liability, etc.
Result -
Achieved cost efficiencies for client and also provided two day turnaround on most reviews. Lawwave also provided expert US contract attorney advice, when required. Saving on a monthly basis are more than 50%.
